By synchronising your users, you can automate the on-boarding and off-boarding of your employees on the Vendredi platform and save yourself a lot of time!

The Vendredi platform synchronises with your user management tool (Azure Active Directory, Google, Okta).

  • A new employee joins the company, he/she is created in your employee management tool and his/her account is automatically created in the Vendredi platform. The employee will receive an email inviting them to connect to the platform.

  • If an employee leaves the company, they are deactivated in your employee management tool and their account is automatically disabled on the Vendredi platform.

The platform makes it very easy for you to configure the synchronisation of your users independently.

⏲️ It takes 15 to 20 minutes of work for someone with administrator access to your employee management tool and the Vendredi platform.

The configuration procedure with Google

⚠️ Prerequisites: Prepare the user group(s) to be synchronised

1. Authorise Vendredi to access your Google Account

  • Go to the company area of the platform, Settings > Advanced settings > User synchronization

  • Select “Synchronize with Google”

  • A new tab will open asking you to authorise Vendredi to access your Google account

2. Choose the user group(s) to be synchronised

  • Choose one or more user groups corresponding to your employees who will have access to the platform

  • Click on "Confirm”

  • Synchronisation will start

3. Check that synchronisation has taken place

  • Refresh the page and you will see a message telling you when the last synchronisation took place and how many users have been created. Synchronisation is triggered when there is a new user to synchronise.

The configuration procedure with Azure AD, Okta via the SCIM protocol

For other tools used to manage your employees, we use the SCIM protocol (Cross-Domain Identity Management System).

⚠️ Prerequisites: Prepare the user group(s) to be synchronised

1. Activate synchronisation

  • Go to the company area of the platform, Settings > Advanced settings > User synchronization

  • Choose "Synchronise with SCIM" A tenant URL and a secret key are provided, information you will need to configure provisioning in Azure AD.

2. Configure provisioning in Azure AD

  • Use the same application as for SSO if you have already configured it, otherwise create a new application
